white pin tuck duvet cover This is a topic that many people are looking for. voteyesons.org is a channel providing useful information about learning, life, digital marketing and online courses …. it will help you have an overview and solid multi-faceted knowledge . Today, voteyesons.org would like to introduce to you DIY Pintuck Duvet. Following along are instructions in the video below:
A couple people wanted to know how to make the pintuck dube. Its super super super easy and i just added it in one night. So you can do pretty quickly in a couple hours.
So what you do is you just go get a flat sheet from the store. You dont need an entire sheet set just get a flat sheet and you can get two. If youre wanting it to be a duvet cover so like if you want to slide.
A comforter in there you can get two flat sheets. And you wont do anything to the back one youll just sew it on to the back of this top later so anyway.
I might suggest getting a size bigger than you need so i have a queen bed. And i bought a queen flat sheet and this is laying sideways right now so it ends up looking longer just because i have it lower down on my bed. Because i folded these sheets over um.
So if you have a problem if with it being this short on the side of your bed. Then i would suggest getting a size larger. Im fine with it so really its just preference.
But anyway once you have it lay it flat out um feel free to iron. It it takes a really long time to iron a flat sheet.
Thats um that big and i didnt and it looks fine so anyway. Then what youre going to do is make even marks throughout the entire flashy so youre going to lay it on on the wrong side. So this is right side up right now but lay it on the wrong side and then i used a book you can use a ruler.
If you want to but see i just made even marks. All the way around the book and then once i was done i made it in a set to center. So do that throughout the entire thing and mark it with quilting pins.
Just you know like the little sewing pins and then youre going to go to your sewing machine. And wherever you made a mark wherever.
Theres a pin you twist the fabric twice and then sew it across so i went forward back and forward that way it just holds it better so um. The deeper the more times you twist it and the deeper you sew up so you could twist it three times and sew it all the way up here. But i just hit it twice and just did it there um.
So the more times you twist them the deeper you do it the poufy or your bed will be. But um be cautious because the more you twist and the deeper you sew. It it pulls the fabric pulls the width and the length of the bed in or the sheet in so if i had done deeper pleats.
It might end up being like a lot shorter like that so anyway. Im super super easy and then if you want you can sew another flat sheet to the backside of it so you can put your you can put a comforter in there or your current beds bedspread.
If you get a thick enough fabric. Then like i have a black bedspread. And i didnt want to pay for a comforter.
So i just got fabric that was thick enough so you cant see through to my black bedspread. So anyways um. And then yeah you can do it in any color.
You want and itll look awesome so let me know if you have any questions and if you make one i definitely want to see it anyway. Its super easy and fun to make thank you .
